Thanks to our benefactors, and with their support, the National Children’s Specialized Hospital "OHMATDYT" has acquired a new operating table, specifically designed for the Department of Reconstructive Plastic Microsurgery at NCSH "Ohmatdyt".
The charity foundation "Ohmatdyt - Healthy Childhood" has donated modern medical equipment to the National Specialized Children's Hospital "Ohmatdyt": an operating table. Maxillofacial surgeries are already being performed on it.
The head of the department, Valeriy BOVKUN, explains: "It is quite useful, it is quite comfortable, and that's important! When a patient lies on the operating table for a long time during surgery, they may experience disturbances in microcirculation, due to the softness of this table, we manage to prevent these problems. Another point is the convenience for the surgeons, which contributes to the speed and quality of the operation."
The doctors are grateful to the benefactors, thanks to whom it became possible to raise funds for another surgical table for the department of maxillofacial surgery.
