The Ohmatdyt Charitable Foundation, thanks to its donors, has raised the necessary
funds to update the outdated medical equipment that was created in the last
century - this is examination and diagnostic equipment. The Department of Pediatric
and Adolescent Gynecology and Sexual Education annually provides consultations to
12,000 children, aged from 0 to 18 years, from different regions of Ukraine. The
department's doctors carry out treatment, rehabilitation and preventive measures
using modern methods for girls who have various gynecological diseases.
The Charitable Foundation «Ohmatdyt - Healthy Childhood» has handed over to the
clinic, a structural unit of Ohmatdyt, two sets of modern medical equipment: a
gynecological chair, a colposcope, and an examination lamp.
One set is for the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology and Sexual
Education, and the other is for the Family Planning Department, which has already
received one new set before. However, the overall need for gynecological sets
remains significant - at least four more sets are needed!
«Modern medical equipment is very important to us. Because nowadays, girls are starting to lead sexual lives earlier and more actively. Along with this, the number of health problems is increasing», - says the head of the department, Halyna ABABKOVA.
The new equipment will help doctors to conduct examinations at an appropriate
level, and patients to feel comfortable!
