Modern Equipment for the Family Planning Unit in Okhmatdyt Outpatient Clinic

The family planning unit at the Okhmatdyt outpatient clinic has finally moved on from equipment dating back to the 1980s. The department now has a new gynecological chair, a modern colposcope, and a high-quality examination light - upgrades long awaited by both doctors and patients.

This update is not about technology alone. It is about accurate examinations, reliable diagnostics, and proper conditions for women of reproductive age and pregnant patients from all over Ukraine. The unit serves around 18,000 women every year, and outdated equipment has made comprehensive care difficult.

The new equipment helps detect serious conditions at early stages, supports correct diagnoses, and enables effective treatment decisions. It also makes examinations less stressful and far more comfortable for women.

The project became possible thanks to joint efforts of our Foundation and partners: DESPRO, Rebuild Ukraine, and Semanticforce.
