About the event

This initiative takes on special significance considering that one in every ten infants worldwide is born prematurely. Such children, sometimes weighing even less than 500 grams, are in a critical condition from the first minutes of their life. Their survival depends on modern medical equipment, highly qualified medical assistance, and the creation of optimal conditions for their care and development. Multifunctional positioning aids for the "Kangaroo" care method are specifically designed to meet the needs of deeply premature infants. They not only promote the proper formation of the skeletal-muscular system and the infants' skulls but also support vital physiological processes, ensuring a more stable development. Moreover, thanks to their unique design, these positioning aids take the form of a "nest", mimicking the womb's shape and creating an additional sense of security for the infant.
