The National Operetta of Ukraine opens a series of charity events «Support NCSH OHMATDYT»

National Children's Specialized Hospital "OHMATDYT"- - the largest children's hospital in Ukraine. During a full-scale war it helps to save children who were injured as a result of hostilities, and its specialists continue to support the medical front of the country every day!

The first event is the Charity "Candlelight Concert" designed to raise funds for a modern surgical microscope from the well-known German Leica group. Up to date, specialists of the microsurgery department of NCSH "OHMATDYT" perform operations using a surgical microscope of the Japanese company Olympus, manufactured in 1990, which is technically outdated and has many defects that cannot be eliminated taking its ageinto consideration. Despite this fact, the specialists of the microsurgery department of NCSH "OHMATDYT" perform extremely complex operations on children with gunshots, mine-explosive orshrapnel injuries and contusions.

But the goal of the series of charity events launched in 2023 by the Kyiv National Academic Theater of Operetta and Charitable Organization Charity Foundation "Ohmatdyt - Healthy Childhood"- is toconvey to the largest number of people the importance of conducting operations, especially for children, using modern medical equipment that allows to protect both children and doctors. From the one side, it improves the effectiveness of operations and reduces postoperative rehabilitation and from the other side, it reduces the operational load on doctors.

In order to make the use of modern medical microscope available for the specialists of the department of microsurgery of NCSH "OHMATDYT", it is necessary to collect 1 million 230 thousand hryvnias (UAH). In such a case, the largest hospital in Ukraine will become better and closer to the goal when all operations and other medical measures will be carried out on modern medical equipment, and children - the future of Ukraine - will be healthy and happy!
